Timesheet Completion

Timemarker automates timesheet completion, saving hours of admin time. Staff are prompted to complete their timesheet once they reach their weekly hours, and receive weekly reminder emails if it's not done. No more chasing—everything is automated.

Multi-level

Timemarker offers up to five levels of time tracking—Client, Project, Activity, Sub-Activity, and Task—so you can customise the detail to fit your needs. Most companies find three levels ideal for ease and accuracy. There’s no limit to staff, clients, or projects, and our team is happy to advise on the best setup for your business.

Changing Timesheets

We all make mistakes, if a staff member has incorrectly completed a timesheet week they can request it is unlocked with a reason directly from the product. Timemarker admins can access all user’s timesheets so you can unlock a timesheet week for the staff member or make any required changes directly.

Navigation

Some products have endless menus making it impossible to find what you need. Timemarker has a simple menu navigation so you can get to the correct area in just a few clicks. Each data entry page is mobile-friendly allowing you to make changes wherever and whenever you need to.

Time Approval

Accurate timesheets are key to reliable reports. To ensure this, have timesheets approved by a line manager. When submitted, timesheets show as "pending" and notify the approver via email. They can approve or reject directly from the email or in Timemarker. Rejections can include a reason, which is emailed to the staff member.

Adding New Time Entry Items

Adding time-entry items is easy with Timemarker. You can copy lower levels from existing items or use time entry templates, which include all tracking levels and can be quickly assigned to clients. Updating a template automatically updates all clients using it, allowing you to create or update hundreds of clients in just a few clicks.

Reporting

Timemarker provides accurate timesheets and powerful reporting tools to identify areas for improvement. Export pre-built reports to CSV or PDF, track hours by client, project, department, or staff, and calculate bill value for accurate client charges. Custom exports let you select specific data, and our team can create tailored reports if needed. You can also report on costs to see how much time has cost your company, broken down by client, project, and staff member.
